Arin M. Clark, DVM

Associate Veterinarian Arin M. Clark has been working at Rocky Mountain since September of 2008. She is originally from Cape Elizabeth, Maine. Dr. Clark earned her B.A. in Zoology from Connecticut College in 2000, where she graduated Cum Laude with honors. While at school she was on the equestrian and crew teams.

After college, Dr. Clark worked as a veterinary technician at a small animal hospital in the suburbs of Boston for a year and half. After that, she began work in a human orthopedic research laboratory at Massachusetts General Hospital while completing her prerequisite courses for veterinary school.

Dr. Clark attended Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and graduated with her DVM in 2007. She was the recipient of the Small Animal Clinical Proficiency Award and was a member of the Phi Zeta Honors Society that designates she was in the top 10 of her graduating class. After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Clark completed a one-year rotating internship at the Veterinary Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia to futher her skill and development as a veterinarian. Today, Dr. Clark focuses on emergency medicine, internal medicine, ultrasound and minimally invasive surgery techniques.

“Without question it is my patients and their dedicated owners who stand out as the most memorable aspects of my career,” Dr. Clark said about what drives her to excel in her profession. “While the medicine and surgery are challenging and rewarding, it is the ability to improve the human/animal bond that is most memorable and special for me.”

Dr. Clark is married and has a daughter and they share their home with a Chocolate Lab named Liam. Dr. Clark also enjoys hiking, running, snowshoeing, skiing and horseback riding.
